Public Bio: Molly Darcy is a familiar face around the Ton, boasting a large list of impressive friends. Her two children continue to be unmarried as they enter their third season of looking for spouses, but it is clear that this is not from a lack of Lady Darcy's trying.

Private Bio: Molly really wants her children to find spouses, because she believes that a life spent alone is necessarily unhappy (this is fuelled by her grief over losing her wife a decade ago). However, despite the lack of practicality of such a wish, deep down she wants her children to find love matches, so can't stop herself from giving them another chance to find the perfect spouse next year. She is determined that this year will finally be the one where one or both of them gets married.

Do you have an arc in mind for your character? If so, what? Molly will be doing her best to ensure that her two children get married this season. It might also be fun if she gets her own love story and learns to focus on herself more.

How does your character feel about attending the Debut Ball this season? She is looking forward to seeing her friends again after the time spent in the countryside, but is growing increasingly embarrassed about her children still being unmarried. She feels a little weary about the task ahead of her this season.

What are your character's most important relationships? Her relationship with her two children. They don't understand it, but she's trying to do what's best for them by insisting that they get married. She loves them a lot, even if it isn't always clear.

What is your character's biggest flaw? Molly prioritises her children over herself, to her own detriment.

What part of playing this game are you most excited for? The dancing! And possibly a bit of romance…

Public Bio: Mx Quent Spencer in new to the Ton, having recently moved to London from the countryside, but they have already proven themselves to be a pleasant conversationalist and enjoyer of gossip.

Private Bio: The illegitimate child of a nobleman, having been rejected and sent away by their father at birth, Quent is angry at the wealth and privilege of the Ton, particularly their blood relatives. They have assumed the false identity of a nobleperson and snuck into the ball to try to find some secrets that could tear their father and his family down.

Do you have an arc in mind for your character? If so, what? I think Quent will end up forming some genuine positive relationships with members of the Ton, realising that they aren't all bad. I hope they succeed in getting revenge on their father, but it shouldn't be easy.

How does your character feel about attending the Debut Ball this season? Extremely nervous. But also a little excited to finally be doing something to get revenge on their family. Their whole life has been building to this moment, but it could so easily all come crashing down.

What are your character's most important relationships? Quent has a good relationship with their mother, who is reluctantly supporting them in this plan, although she is worried about the risk Quent is taking. They are also very close with their older half-sister who works at the modiste and sourced their impressive outfits. Both of them know Quent well enough to be sure that nothing can stop them when they've put their mind to something, so it is better to help to ensure the plan is successful.

What is your character's biggest flaw? Quent is fixated on their goal of bringing their father down and would go to extreme lengths to achieve this.

What part of playing this game are you most excited for? The constant drama and uncertainty about whether their plan will be discovered. Also the character development that will happen over the course of the game as they genuinely warm to some members of the Ton.
