======When and Where======
=====Sessions=====
The game will consist of 3 in-person [[sessions]], plus an initial character creation session and an end-of-game debrief which are both online on Discord. In a change from previous games in the recent history of the society, sessions will take place **every three weeks**, on Wednesdays, however the character creation and debrief sessions do not follow this pattern so please look carefully at the schedule on this page. The in-person venue will be open to us from **7pm**, with sessions **starting at 7:30pm and finishing at 10:30pm**. Sessions will all be hosted in the [[https://maps.app.goo.gl/BGBB6AdNzPHWoPw7A|Asian Cultural Centre]] (Manzil Way, Oxford, OX4 1GH), in an upper-floor room.

The character creation session serves as a chance for you to ask the GM any questions you may have about the game and discuss your ideas for characters with the GM and other potential players. It also provides an opportunity to form character links and joint concepts with other players. This event is free to attend so you can decide if //The Social Season// is the right game for you. 

Debrief will be an opportunity for players, crew and the GM to reveal their secrets once the game is finished in an organized fashion. I highly recommend having a craft or something to do with your hands while you are on the call and listening to everyone talk.

=====Getting Here=====
The Asian Cultural Centre is located just off Cowley Road and is easily accessible with most methods of transport. Please note that the Asian Cultural centre is well signposted, and is located a little further down the road than the Mosque.
The closest bus stop to the Asian Cultural Centre is [[https://maps.app.goo.gl/QRPkg3Hqg1z9m1yXA|Manzil Way]]. Regular buses are available here to/from the centre of Oxford (including the rail station), as well as out towards Temple Cowley. There is also a nearby bus stop on [[https://maps.app.goo.gl/pveARAFGKDE7ccD5A|Morrell Avenue]].
There is car parking at the venue, however you will need to move your car if you are going to the post-session social. There is also plenty of on-street parking available from 6:30pm, on Manzil Way and in many of the nearby streets.
Additionally, there is paid parking available at the [[https://maps.app.goo.gl/Qm1DB2E1zUyzsdxY6|Union Street Car Park]] nearby.
=====Accessibility=====
The hall is located on the second floor of the Cultural Centre. There is lift access, but the lift is small – wheelchairs should be able to fit it, but power chairs may struggle.

There are gendered toilets, and an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

The space we have available is a single large hall. Due to the space, it may be loud and echoing during sessions. We do not have any other rooms in the venue booked, however there is corridor space and 2 staircases that are used to access the venue, if you need to take a break. We are also able to use the grounds outside (though noise should be kept to a minimum).

=====Post-Session Social=====
For those of you who want to socialise after the session, there will be an informal gathering at [[https://maps.app.goo.gl/TKNuWqayjXYEipL5A|Sundaes]], around a 5 minute walk from the venue. This is an informal, alcohol-free social. This can be a great chance to get to know your fellow roleplayers, especially if you don't know many other OLS members!
