I understand that everyone’s accessibility needs are unique and therefore encourage you to [[gm@season.oxfordlarp.com|reach out]] with any queries or concerns. While I will do my best to accommodate accessibility needs, it may not be possible to accommodate all accessibility needs. =====Music and Dancing===== At scheduled points during the session, in-character dancing will occur accompanied by instrumental classical music. This will occur 3 times per session, each lasting no more than 5 minutes. Characters may decide whether or not they wish to dance, but even if a character is dancing, this does not mean that the player themselves will be dancing. There will be an area of the room (the ‘Dance Zone’) designated as a place where the characters are dancing, but part of this space will have chairs laid out for players who for whatever reason do not wish to dance themselves, and players are encouraged to make use of this if desired. Everyone in the game will assume that the character played by someone in the Dance Zone is dancing, even if the player is not. The music will be played at a low level to allow for in-character conversation between participants, and should be quieter at the opposite end of the room from the Dance Zone. The volume of the music will be tested at the start of the first session to ensure that participants are comfortable with and unsurprised by its volume. Players are also welcome to use earplugs or wait outside the room while the song is playing if they need to. If you feel that any of this would create an accessibility issue for you, please inform GM Isla. It is very important that everyone involved in the game feels comfortable and included, so I am happy to change this game element if needed. =====Location===== //The Social Season// is being held in the Asian Cultural Centre (Manzil Way, Oxford, OX4 1GH), in the large, upstairs hall. The hall is located on the first floor of the Cultural Centre. There is lift access, but the lift is small – wheelchairs should be able to fit in, but power chairs may struggle. There are gendered toilets, and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. The space we have available is a single, large hall. Due to the space, it may be loud and echo during sessions. We do not have any other rooms in the venue specifically booked, but there is corridor space and 2 staircases that are used to access the venue, as well as the grounds outside if you need to take a break. =====Wiki===== The theme of the wiki can be changed by clicking the palette in the top right hand corner of the page. The wiki can be changed to accessibility mode by clicking on the palette icon in the top right hand corner and selecting **Readable**.
